Cooperation and services

The Center for the Collective Use of Scientific Equipment “Interdepartmental Laboratory Center for Teaching and Research” (ILC) of TNMU carries out fundamental and applied research and provides laboratory services to University researchers and outside organizations.

Areas of cooperation

By authorization of the University management, the ILC carries out research not only for the internal needs of TNMU but also for other institutions and organizations on a contractual basis, within its declared scope of technical competence.

Internal cooperation

  • Laboratory testing for state-funded, grant-funded, investigator-initiated and dissertation research carried out by TNMU staff.
  • Provision of workplaces and methodological support for PhD students, master’s students and undergraduates.
  • Support of the teaching process for students and trainees (specialization in clinical laboratory diagnostics).
  • Examination of students and employees referred by the University medical department.
  • Advisory support for researchers in selecting the most informative research methods and interpreting results.
  • Cooperation with the TNMU metrology service (verification of measuring instruments).

External cooperation and partnership

  • Healthcare institutions: cooperation with the Central Laboratory of the Ternopil Regional Clinical Hospital (consultations, professional development for laboratory technicians, inter-district quality control).
  • Government bodies: cooperation with the Ternopil Regional Laboratory Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine on monitoring sanitary and epidemiological conditions.
  • International collaboration: joint research and project work with Ukrainian and international organizations.
  • Commercial services: laboratory measurements for external clients (institutions and organizations) under contract, with full confidentiality of results.
  • Exchange of experience: information exchange with other laboratory centers to improve measurement quality, and participation in external quality assessment schemes.

Would you like to carry out research at the ILC?

We take part in joint grant projects and research studies and give access to our equipment. Measurements are performed reliably, objectively and on time in accordance with ISO 15189:2022.
